Gauge Tool & Die provides tool and die work for stampers, moulders, machine shops and production manufacturers. We plan the access and safety requirements first, keep the person approving the work informed, and hand over the records the job calls for when it is done.

Gauge Tool & Die is invented, and that number is a 555 line. Your site says your name.

Services

The work tool and die makers actually sell.

Written out properly, because a list of one-word services tells a homeowner nothing. Delete the ones you do not do and add the ones we missed.

Progressive dies

Build and debug stations for feeding, piercing, forming and cutoff with strip progression documented.

Die repair and maintenance

Correct wear, galling, chipped details and alignment before they become scrap across a full run.

Jigs and fixtures

Design and build repeatable workholding for machining, welding, inspection and assembly.

Punches and form tools

Machine, heat-treat and fit punches, buttons, pads and form details to the approved drawing.

Tryout and troubleshooting

Run the tool, read the part and correct feed, timing, shut height and forming conditions at the press.

Engineering changes

Modify existing tooling to a controlled revision while protecting every unaffected feature.

Credentials

The things a customer checks before they ring.

Listed near the top of the page instead of buried in an About tab. Fill in your numbers and delete anything you do not hold.

Layouts

Three that suit tool and die makers.

All ten carry the same tools — booking, photo quotes, galleries, reviews, licence details — and you set your own colours and fonts on any of them. These are the ones that tend to look right on this kind of work, drawn here as Gauge Tool & Die. Start with one, open its live demo first, or see all ten layouts.

Questions

What people ask tool and die makers.

Answered on your site, so the same conversation does not happen on the phone six times a week. Edit any of them.

What work does a tool & die maker handle?

Our regular work includes Progressive dies, Die repair and maintenance, Jigs and fixtures, along with the related inspection, setup and repair needed to leave the job ready for service. Send the equipment, drawing or site details and we will tell you plainly whether it fits our scope.

What qualifications do you carry?

Red Seal 430A Tool and Die Maker is the trade-specific qualification we lead with. Insurance and WSIB documents are available before the job, and any permit, engineered drawing or manufacturer procedure the work requires is identified in the quote.

How do you quote the work?

We quote from the actual scope: drawings and measurements where they exist, equipment model and condition where they do not, access, shutdown time, materials and testing. Changes are written down before they become extras.

Can you work around an operating site?

Yes. For stampers, moulders, machine shops and production manufacturers, we plan access, lockout or isolation, lifts and hot-work controls before arrival. If the work needs a shutdown, the quote separates preparation from the outage window so the interruption stays as short as practical.

What should I send before the first visit?

A few wide photos, the address, the make and model of any equipment, the drawing or part file if there is one, and the date the work has to be ready. That is usually enough to assign the right person and avoid a wasted trip.

Other tool and die makers in your town are already findable.

Be the one who answers. $1 for the first month, then ten dollars a month — and your trade is already written, so you are filling in a form, not building a website.
