Two Coats Painting spends most of its time on the part nobody photographs: filling, sanding, caulking and masking. That is why our lines are sharp and the finish still looks right two winters later. We show up when we said, we work clean, we quote the actual product by name, and we put the workmanship warranty in writing.

Two Coats Painting is invented, and that number is a 555 line. Your site says your name.

Services

The work painters actually sell.

Written out properly, because a list of one-word services tells a homeowner nothing. Delete the ones you do not do and add the ones we missed.

Interior repainting

Walls, ceilings and trim prepped properly — filled, sanded, caulked and primed — then two full coats of quality paint, not one thinned coat and a rushed cut line.

Exterior painting & staining

Siding, stucco, brick and trim washed, scraped, primed on bare spots and coated with exterior-grade product that survives a full freeze-thaw cycle.

Cabinet & millwork spraying

Doors removed, degreased, sanded and sprayed with a hard catalysed finish so your kitchen does not chip the first time a pan touches it.

Trim, doors & railings

Baseboards, casings, doors and stair railings finished with a fine-finish spray or a brush line that stays crisp against the wall.

Drywall repair & surface prep

Patch the holes, fix the nail pops, caulk the gaps and sand the ridges — the part that decides whether the finish looks professional.

Wallpaper removal & smoothing

Steam off old paper, wash the adhesive off properly and skim the wall flat before priming — skipping any of that guarantees bubbling later.

Colour consultation

Large sample boards in your own light at different times of day, so you are not choosing a whole house off a chip the size of a stamp.

Rental turnovers & condo repaints

Fast, tidy, dated schedules for units that have to be ready for a tenant or a closing on a fixed day.

Classic

The conventional contractor website: utility bar, straight nav, a photo banner and a formal licences block. Looks like a company that has been around for years.

Questions

What people ask painters.

Answered on your site, so the same conversation does not happen on the phone six times a week. Edit any of them.

How many coats do you apply?

Two full coats over a primed or previously painted surface, always — plus spot priming on patches, stains and bare drywall. Anyone quoting one coat is either counting on the old colour being close or hoping you will not notice in six months when it starts looking patchy.

Do I need to move my furniture?

We move it. Small items and breakables are best packed away by you, but the heavy pieces get moved to the centre of the room and covered, and floors get papered or dropped. Everything goes back where it was at the end of the job.

Does the brand of paint really matter?

More than the labour rate does. Better paint covers in fewer coats, keeps its sheen, scrubs without burnishing, and holds colour on an exterior for years longer. We quote a specific product line rather than just 'quality paint', so you can compare our quote to anyone else's honestly.

How soon can we use the room?

Modern low-VOC paints are dry to touch in an hour and recoatable in four. You can normally use the room that evening. Full cure — the point at which the finish is properly hard — takes two to four weeks, so go easy washing walls or pushing furniture against them for the first while.

When is the best time for exterior painting?

Late spring through early fall, when the surface stays above roughly 10 degrees and you have dry days on either side of the work. Painting onto a damp or cold surface is the number one cause of peeling within a year, so we watch the forecast and will reschedule rather than push it.

What happens if it peels or fails?

Our workmanship is warrantied in writing. If a coating we applied to a surface we prepped fails, we come back and redo it. What no warranty can cover is a substrate problem — moisture from behind, a leaking gutter, failing caulking at a window — which is why we point those out before we start.

Other painters in your town are already findable.
