What we do
Duct & vent cleaning services in Milton
Whole-home duct cleaning, dryer vents, furnaces and HRVs. Clearflow Duct Cleaning will show you video of what came out and quote the whole house, not a per-vent price that grows once the truck is parked.
Whole-home duct cleaning
Every supply and return run agitated back to the trunk under a truck-mounted or HEPA negative-air vacuum, then the plenums and the blower compartment. Registers come off, get washed, and go back on with the same screws.
Dryer vent cleaning
Lint cleared from the back of the dryer through the wall to the outside hood, with the run measured and the airflow checked before and after. Long runs, foil flex duct hidden in the wall and a hood flap that no longer opens are what start dryer fires in Ontario homes.
Furnace & blower cleaning
Blower wheel pulled and cleaned, the cabinet vacuumed, the evaporator coil brushed and rinsed and a new filter fitted, so the furnace moves the air it was rated for. Anything on the gas side is left to a TSSA-licensed gas technician.
Post-renovation & new-build clean-outs
Drywall dust, sawdust and construction debris pulled out of ducts that ran wide open through a build or a basement finish. Done before the furniture goes in, so it is not blown back into a freshly painted room.
HRV, ERV & bathroom fan cleaning
HRV core, filters and intake screens washed and the exhaust runs cleared, plus bathroom fan housings and ducts vacuumed out to the roof or wall cap. A clogged HRV in a tight new house is why the windows are wet in January.
Sanitizing & odour treatment
Fogged after cleaning only when there is a reason for it — smoke, a flood, mice or a previous owner's pets — using a Health Canada PMRA-registered product such as Benefect Decon 30, never a bleach mist. We tell you when it is not needed.
Camera inspection & duct sealing
Video of the inside of your ducts before and after so you can see what came out, not just a bag held up at the door. Where the camera finds joints dumping air into the joist bays, we quote mastic sealing on the accessible runs.
Commercial & multi-unit
Restaurant makeup air, office rooftop units and apartment dryer stacks cleaned on a schedule, with a written report and photos for the property manager and the insurer's file. Evenings and weekends so tenants and staff are not in the way.
About
About Clearflow Duct Cleaning
Clearflow Duct Cleaning started with one truck and a rule: registers off, every run agitated back to the trunk under negative air, and video of the inside before and after so nobody has to take our word for it. We would rather tell you the ducts are fine and just do the dryer vent than sell a whole-house job you do not need, and we will not fog a house with sanitizer because it was on the coupon.

Questions
Before you call
Every three to five years for most houses is plenty. Do it sooner if you have just renovated, moved into a house that had pets or a smoker, see dust puffing from the registers when the furnace kicks on, or have had mice in the basement. If the last cleaning was recent and the filter has been changed on schedule, we will tell you the ducts are fine and just do the dryer vent.
Honest answer: Health Canada says there is no proof that routine duct cleaning prevents health problems, and we will not tell you otherwise. What it does do is get real debris out of the system — construction dust, pet hair, the stuff that fell down the floor registers for twenty years — and let the blower and coil move the air they were designed to. Clean ducts, a clean blower and a fresh filter is what makes the difference you can feel.
Because $99 does not cover the truck, the technician and two or three hours in your house. Those jobs are priced to get in the door, then billed per vent, per return, per furnace and per sanitizer once the crew is standing in your basement. We quote the whole house up front from your furnace count and roughly how many registers you have, and that is the number on the invoice.
Two to four hours for a typical house with one furnace, longer for two systems or a big post-reno mess. Before we arrive, move anything sitting on or in front of the floor and wall registers and clear a path to the furnace and the dryer. Pets are happier shut in a room we have already finished, since the vacuum hose is loud.
Towels take two cycles, the top of the dryer is hot to the touch, the flap on the outside hood does not open when the dryer runs, or there is lint built up around the hood. Once a year is the right interval for most homes, sooner for a long run or one with a lot of elbows. If we find foil or plastic flex duct hidden in the wall, we will tell you, because it should be replaced with rigid or semi-rigid metal.
Not unless there is a reason to and you say yes. Sanitizing makes sense after smoke, water damage, rodents or a strong pet odour, and then only with a product Health Canada has registered for the job. A blanket sanitizer on every job is a line item, not a service, and we do not add it.
