Curtis Vandermeer put his first roof on in Fergus at nineteen and started Speed River in 2011 with a truck and a nail gun. Eight of us now, all WSIB covered, all on the roof — we don't sell your job to a subcontractor you've never met. We work one house at a time so your roof is off and back on the same day rather than sitting under plastic for a week, and every job ends with a magnet run over the lawn and driveway. When a storm comes through Wellington County we keep two trucks free for tarping, because a $400 tarp today beats a ceiling replacement in March.

Within four hours in Guelph, Rockwood and Puslinch, day or night. We keep two trucks uncommitted during storm weeks specifically for this.
Most Guelph houses are a single day: tear-off in the morning, dried in by early afternoon, shingles and cleanup by evening. Big or complex roofs run two days and we'll say so up front.
If your shingles are under fifteen years old and the problem is one area, it's usually a repair, and we'd rather do the repair and keep you as a customer. We'll show you photos from the roof and the attic either way.
Often, for wind and hail. We photograph everything, write it up in the language adjusters expect, and we're happy to meet yours on site. We never inflate a claim.
Tarps over the beds, plywood against the siding, and a magnet run over the lawn and driveway before we pull out. If you find a nail afterwards, call us and we'll come back.
Yes, unless we open the roof and find rotten decking — that's the one thing nobody can see from the ground. Replacement sheathing is priced per sheet in the quote so there's no surprise, and we photograph every sheet we replace.
